Frenzy 7

Well, the last two frenzies were located in London, so we're gonna kinda sorta keep that connection going. As for the photo, yep, that's guitars. Lots and lots of guitars. Almost 2000. Whassup with all these guitarists gathering last week? You tell me...

1) Where did all these guitarists gather?
2) Why did they gather?
and
3) How could this possibly be connected to London?

Post your answers by clicking the comment link below. If you email me your answer, I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but it doesn't count for snocone action.

Rock on, bruthas and sistahs...

Hint Number 1: The answer to Question 3 has nothing to do with the Guinness Book of World Records. Guinness is Irish regardless of where a book may be published. This is the arbitrary and final judgment of the site administrators. Seek on, fellow travelers.

Hans gets up too early in the morning. Just goes to show you..the early bird gets the sno cone!

The previous record was 1,802 who played 'Smoke on the Water' simultaneously in Leinfelden-Echterdingen (Germany) on 26 June 2007.

I think its time to have a town-hall meeting about this so-called snow cone program. It clearly fails reach all of the citizens and may not even exist at all. Where is the evidence of snow cones actually being delivered? If you are as concerned as I am about this scaberously fraudulent program, please write your elective representative. A sample letter is found below for your convenience.

Dear Smarmy Bastard,

I know you don't give a flying shithook about common people and I'll get some stupid ass form letter in reply. Still, you know, I'm so angry about this snow cone issue I'm ready to blow shit out my damn ears. I heard on the radio the other day that the treefuggers and commie-facists inspired by Satan himself are holding back on the snow cones. Thats down right un-fuckin American. Ima gonna have to march around with my guns just cause you know I can, cause you know I'll stop them damn feds with it if I have to... just saying ya know.

So fuck you and gimme some damn snow cones!!!

Eat shit and die,

Respectfully,

(Your name here)

Damn! Just cuz I've been working (slaving away in the ivory tower) this week and hadn't downloaded my e-mail, and then slept in this morning Hans got it!

I knew it! I even told one of the Sparkmaster's favorite nephew's friends (howz that for convoluted possessives?) to get his butt up there and join in. The fav nephew, I'm glad to report, has just learned to slowly and carefully imitate smoke on the water but wasn't ready to do a large group strum himself.

As for the curmudgeon who's posting under the nom de plume Bubba-yo-Mama-said...I know who you are cuz only one human on this planet is so crass as to utter the phrase "flying shithook" much less preserve it in print.

Love to my bro-in-law and to my dear hubby,
Teri

No complete responses?

1) They are competing for the record for Largest Guitar Ensemble

2) It was done in Luckenbach, TX on 23 Aug 2009

3) Norris and Ross McWhirter were commissioned to write the GBoWR in London when they were working for Fleet Street newspapers. 1st one came out in 1955.

C'mon, give it up!

I'll weigh in with:

1. Annual summer gathering of "Canadians in White T-Shirts" to play three-chord-wonder "Takin' Care of Business" composed by Randy Bachman of Bachman Turner Overdrive fame.

2. Somewhere in Canada (hey, it's huge).

3. Canada was the former British colony hence the London connection.

If I thought Post Oaks existed in Canada, I would think I had a chance.

Later.

Teabagger Party. They love tea in London. And if you look closely you can see a lot of Hitler moustaches scribbled on those guitars. Plus, in that far right corner, isn't that Ayn Rand with her face in Ronald Reagan's crotch?

Confident of victory,
E

This whole idea is pretty much bullshit. I mean, who in Austin doesn't know about the "Biggest Guitar Ensemble" in Luckenbach? Hell, Austin owns Lukenbach! I think it's pretty fuckin' cool how Anonymous talks about Ayn Rand blowing Ronald Reagan in the corner. Fuckin' awesome. I mean, fuck capitalism, know what I mean? We need socialized medicine 'n shit. Hell, socialize everything so it runs like clockwork, just like the U.S. Post Office, or Fannie Mae, or Freddie Mac, or Amtrack. But I digress...Maybe we could socialize construction of guitars. Make only one model, 9 month backlog, price increases every quarter. Awesome. I like this Frenzy thing. It's cool.
